In response to suggestions of loyal customers, the Glasshouse had sought to bring to Morgantown a quality market for fresh fish. In 2002 the Flying Fish & Co opened it’s doors with a staff dedicated to providing fresh fish fast at a reasonable price in a fun and casual setting. The Flying Fish routinely brings fish directly from the markets in Boston and Baltimore, making our own runs to Baltimore weekly to pick out the very best fish and seafood. Whether you’re looking for fresh fillets from our retail market, fully prepared meals, or a quick lunch or dinner, we guarantee your satisfaction.

The Market

Our market location seeks out only the freshest fish and shellfish available to our area. We go directly to Baltimore to purchase only the best product and bring it directly back to Morgantown. The Flying Fish has since moved from our location in the Seneca Center to Pirepont Landing in Cheat Lake. Swing by to check out our fresh fish or to enjoy a quick bite to eat.

The Flying Fish & Co at Pirepont is open daily from 11-6, closed Sundays.
